The Ups Store #2326 Reviews (10)

I am rejecting this response because: I reject the premise that the associate followed "UPS store Policy and Procedure" by not providing options for service as well as assuring patron the packages would be received before ChristmasIf this is UPS store policy and procedure this is a malicious policy that misleads patrons and does not allow them to make an informed decisionNor was there an acceptable problem handling response from the location when it was brought to their attention

After researching all details in full, it was determined that the associate followed the UPS Store policies and procedures. In addition, on file, is a shipping contract signed by the customer accepting Priority mail,... a 1-3 service.

I am rejecting this response because: adequate does not describe what transpiredThere was no choosing in the interactionIt is clear business does not obtain the ability to acknowledge fault in practice or policyIt is also clear business owner is not involved in business problem resolution and business manager is abusing authorityOther avenues of complaint and public record will be pursued

I am rejecting this response because: I reject the premise that the associate followed "UPS store Policy and Procedure" by not providing options for service as well as assuring patron the packages would be received before Christmas. If this is UPS store policy and procedure this is a malicious policy that misleads patrons and does not allow them to make an informed decision. Nor was there an acceptable problem handling response from the location when it was brought to their attention.

Review: Monday December 22nd at approximately 11:40am before Christmas my wife went into this location to ship our families gifts to Louisiana. She simple stated that she needed to ensure delivery by the 24th. the clerk responded with "yes ma'am that will be 96 dollars." No options were provided nor does the establishment have any sort of menu or itemized service board with choices. The clerk assured her the packages would be delivered on the 24th with no mention of any other options let alone whether or not a guarantee applied. She provided payment and received a receipt that stated estimated deliver of December 24th end of day. Christmas came and passed with no delivery. When I visited the establishment on the 27th to inquire, a lady who identified herself as Tammy was less than helpful. She was rude and accusatory and said nothing more than "your wife chose USPS which is not guaranteed, it is never guaranteed!" the package was subcontracted out to the USPS which was never stated at any time during the original transaction. She was argumentative, rude and insulting stating "I know what happened, we told your wife it was going to be over 200 dollars and she choose the cheaper option." I asked her if she witnessed the transaction as the receipt noted that a "[redacted]" helped my wife, her only reply was "did you?" The money was not the issue, the issue was when a consumer patronized the business, paid for a service and the service was not fulfilled as assured by the business, the business wasn't interested in acknowledging any fault let alone trying to make it right. As they do not provide any menu or disclosure stating the differences between their services, consumers are left to the the mercy of the "experts". If and when an "expert" is wrong the business does nothing but insult and argue with the client refusing any sort of refund for a service that was not provided as paid for.Desired Settlement: Public record of the ill treatment that a consumer received when no disclosure or options were presented at time of payment. Partial refund as we understand there is a cost involved. I am not interested in a free service, I only want to pay for the service that was provided. We paid for 2nd day to ensure delivery by the 24th. The recipient received the packages on the 26th. I would like a refund of the difference between the services. review of business practices as it pertains to regs or laws
