Unfortunately, customer is not being honest in his complaint. Customer is upset that he cannot get a refund on the unused months from his mailbox rental contract. Once a mailbox contract is signed it, is non refundable for the term/period ...

that it is opened and signed. It is stated right on the signed receipt that I have a copy with this customer's signature. Our mailbox contracts are offered for three, six and twelve month terms with pricing based on a tier level. The longer you sign up for, the bigger the discount per month. This customer opened his box for three months. At the time is was up for renewal at the end of three months, he renewed it for six. For the customer to say that he was required to renew for six months is totally false. Why would we allow him to open it for three months and require him to renew at six months. It does not make sense. Also, at the time of renewal, when the customer came in, I waited on him. I am the manager of the store. I am neither a boy or 18 years old or "slow" as so kindly stated by the customer.
I am sorry that the customer decided to close his business and no longer had a need for the box.Unfortunately, when you sign any type of rental agreement, any unused months in the term of the agreement are nonrefundable.
In regards to his complaint of having incompetent,young and "slow" employees, I can assure you that the employees at this store are competent, knowledgeable, and provide excellent customer service which all our many long standing mailbox customers would attest too.
