The Travel Connection & Scuba Ventures

We paid for a trip to Aruba, by credit card to The Travel Connection, in May 2019. Upon arrival at our hotel, Holiday Inn Aruba, we were informed our reservation had not been paid by the Travel Connection. We have been charged for this trip again by the hotel.

Brenda M, travel agent for this company was responsible for booking approximately 30 trips for a wedding, July 12, 2019, in *** The booking required both hotel and flights be arranged. This group of people has submitted the payments (prior to March 2019) to the business and now the business has failed to book the trips and does not have the funds to refund the group or book the trips. The cost due to the vacation vendor at this time is over $37K. Total trips costs exceed 50K
Brenda promised/guaranteed, along with business partner Darren C that this would be resolved by Monday 7/1, she failed to meet her own deadline, again on 7/2, and now on 7/3 has called in sick to work. The group was to leave the country on various dates beginning Monday, 7/8/19.
At this point, Brenda reported that we will be hearing from an attorney, but she has again failed to clarify if the trips have been arranged and paid for. The owners of the company, J *** have been made aware of the situation but have not attempted to professionally resolve the issue. We have contacted the Attorney General's Office, law enforcement and now the Revdex.com in order to resolve the issue.
