The Sprinkler Guys

Buyer Beware!! I purchased a sprinkler system from The Sprinkler Guys in 2008. We were the first established yard in the neighborhood. A permit was pulled, but they never called for the inspection as per the city of Franklin. They did not use the survey given them, but rather "walked" the lot to lay down the system. Consequently, now that someone built on the adjoining lot our system was pulled up because it was well past our lot line and placed on their property. We had a similar situation with the other side of our lot, when they had their sprinkler system installed by DJ Sprinklers. He did use the survey and found our sprinklers over our lot line. Fortunately, the neighbors were fine with it and our system was not interrupted. In addition, I was told I would get a map of the system so that I could plant bushes, trees, etc. I was never given this and have made many repairs to the system since, all at my expense. This, however, seemed like it just should be repaired. Josh didn't care what happened 5 years ago and would only repair it at my expense. He was rude and condescending and accepted no responsibility for the location of the hose or sprinklers. I don't know many people who are aware of their exact lot line and yes a few inches let alone feet can make a big difference. I trusted that they were professionals, but apparently it's all about money for The Sprinkler Guys.
