[redacted] entered into a 6 month contract with the [redacted] to sell their home on August 8th 2016. On the day of listing I explained the home should be listed at aprox 275,000 but Mr [redacted] wanted more. His exact comment was "I don't want...
to sell it to quickly.. If I do, we under-priced it" He set the price at $300,000. He left for another appointment and assigned his wife to finish answering questions. I explained we would list at $300,000 but it would have to come down if there were few showings. There are have been 15 showings since listing the home most of the feedback ranges from over priced to small back yard. One feedback said the price needs to be reduced $25,000. Several months ago Mr [redacted] ask for a release of his contract. I explained this was a binding contract and we do not release from a binding contract. I asked that we reduce the price he said NO. The emails moved to Mr. [redacted] threatening to file a complaint with the Revdex.com if I do not release him from the contract. We sell more than 400 homes a year, we market each one the same. Mr. [redacted] attempted to blame us for his home not selling and then threatened us to complain to the Revdex.com. It appears Mr. [redacted] will do what he can do get what he wants and does not care who he has to step on or threaten to get it.We hope the Revdex.com does not fall into his trap by validating his threats. Copies of the contract, the 1st and second sets of pictures (we re-shot the pictures after the carpet that was ripped up and thrown out by his previous renter) was replaced. We can provide copies of the listing and the performance of our marketing proving we are getting buyers to view the house. Just let me know what is needed. This is NOT a question of loosing respect for our client, this is an example of the client having no respect for anyone else. [redacted]
