"Leading the UC Berkeley chapter of SCLA for the past three years has been an incredibly challenging and rewarding experience for me. My first challenge was to learn and manage the bureaucracy of a large public university, specifically by getting our group recognized as an official Registered Student Organization. SCLA offers a number of online webinars that helped me develop my skills as a leader. Armed with these new skills and support of our Cal chapter leadership team, we set out to grow our chapter. It forced me to go out of my comfort zone, to organize recruitment events, and learn the business of building a successful organization. SCLA brings together students from different backgrounds, interests, and campuses, providing students with tools to achieve their goals. Making new friends, acquiring new leadership skills and the opportunity to create their own network has allowed our chapter and members to grow. I think of SCLA as LinkedIn for college students. If you would like to join our organization or learn more please visit https://www.thescla.org/"

They invited me praising me for my achievement but my frontier who failed all his classes also received and invite. This is a terrible organization targeting struggling college students under the pretense that they will help them
The SCLA tells you very little about the specifics of the program before you pay the $95 membership fee and sign into your account. The internships that this program exclusively offers is not related to my chosen career path whatsoever. Due to the lack of information given to me, I have made the $95 purchase and will not be able to use the services. Not only this, but the company has neglected to respond to my email requests.

I received emails from the SCLA through my college email with my college attached to the invitation code. They are misleading, making students think they are affiliated with the college and they have no accreditation whatsoever. No employer recognizes them and they have nothing to offer that a person couldn't ***. I have called SEVERAL times. When I call and try the three different extension lines they have, most of the time the recording says its and incorrect extension. Once in a blue moon, when the extension finally goes through, I have had someone answer the call and never speak to me. You could hear car horns and someone coughing, but no one would speak. I immediately called back and was sent to voicemail.
I have also emailed a couple of times and received NO reply!
TERRIBLE customer service on top of a LYING "society.

We refunded her payment the same day the complaint was made, as well as the original accidental payment.Via ***Member Support Services
