The owner, *** or *** I don't know which name she goes by, has been advertising a wedding venue by which she calls 'the ranch? in *** She advertises this on her business Instagram called *** For couples interested in booking them for wedding set ups at this venue, she posts about a specific tour day of the venue which is August 29, 2020. I contacted her on 8/11/2020 via Instagram for information regarding this wedding venue. She requested my number then called me via phone number XXX-XXX-XXXX, we discussed a few details. She sent a 'general? proposal is what she called it. It was nothing set in stone were her exact words. We spoke again on 8/13/2020 as I had More questions after reviewing her very vague proposal. I asked If I can tour the venue 'the ranch? with my fiancé. She said I would first need to send her *** as a deposit for their services and the venue to book an appointment on 8/29/2020 because appointments are limited. She was responding to me quickly as I was about to send her the deposit. I sent payment via Venmo on 8/13/20 her Venmo account is ***-Mendez-91. She gave me the 12:00pm appointment. As soon as I sent the payment she said her assistant would keep in touch with me to give me more information regarding my venue appointment such as address then she immediately stopped responding to me. Two weeks go by, I have not heard anything. I tried researching this venue and can not pull it up as a venue on any internet source. I sent her a text on 8/20/2020 requesting some information regarding my ranch appointment. Then again sent two different texts at different times on 8/25/2020, requesting information to the venue but no responses to either message I've sent. Coincidentally, finally after the second text I received an email from *** saying the ranch venue appointment has been cancelled due to unfortunate events and they will let me know when the new date is confirmed.
