Review: Hired to fix water seepage into my basement for a home on Long Island. Proposed a french drain solution, and was very nice during the sales process.Spent approx 2 days in my house. when finished, I had a worse problem than when I started. The drain was installed incorrectly (doesnt even drain into the sump pump) and wherever he trenched, large portions of that new concrete suffers from moisture seepage (water sittting in the pipe). The finish of the job was bad as well - cement that was poured in many places not even smooth and had gravel poking thru. Finally - they dumped construction debris (sand and dirt from digging the trench) in our driveway, instead of hauling it away. that last was the last straw.I called and said I was very uncomfortable with the quality of the job and did not want him back in my house to "make it right". I also had a third party come inspect his work - they confirmed the problems, and questioned why he even installed that system in the first place. He become commpletely belligerent, cursed and yelled at me, and even jumped to "go ahead and sue me! you'll get nothing!" Clearly he has made my problem worse, blamed the messenger (me) for his bad work, and turned into the contractor from hell. He also said he or his worker was in my house early that same morning, and claimed there was nothing wrong. If he was in my house it was 100% not with my ok, and thus broke into my property. I am trying to review security camera footage to see if this is so.Desired Settlement: My suggestion is that he refunds the amount of the job that is not applicable to the waterproofing ($1000 was for remediation of mold and sheetrock) and I am happy to allot the more than fair sum of $1500 to reflect cost for travel and purchase of materials (which unfortunately were utilized incorrectly or haphazardly). Thus I would expect a refund of $8,300.I hope he sees the light and does the right thing. His website speaks to integrity and 100% satisfaction -a refund makes it right
