Popcorn Squad came highly recommended by two different neighbors that had used their service. Needless to say our expectations were very high. They didn't disappoint! Our ceilings look fantastic! From start to finish it was a great experience.
Thanks for your nice review! Please let us know if we can be of service in the future. We appreciate your business!

I used this company for a large residential job. Very pleased with the finished ceilings. The process is extremely messy/dusty, and there were multiple tears in the plastic draped on walls and stairs that allowed wet mud on to carpet, hearth and mantle of the fireplace. These areas were not cleaned up after job completion. They also used a brand new dryer (less than 2 weeks old) as a step. Also missed a 6" x 18" area of ceiling in laundry room. They also damaged the walls everywhere they worked by placing staples every 18 inches to hold up the plastic. We did not anticipate this. They did not remove all staples, just pulled down plastic, and painted over. Very obvious damage even after paint. The response when these areas were pointed out was "yea, that happens". Apparently there are different crews at each stage of the job. One demo crew who preps area, removes ceiling plates for fixtures and fans, the second is the drywall repair (tape and mud), and the same crew does finishing work and puts all ceiling fixtures and plates back up. Parts were lost and the second crew had no idea where the parts were. They agreeded to come back and repair the drywall the next week, and we did not notice the dents in the dryer until it was pointed out to us by our cabinet installer prior to installation (they didn't want the blame).
No air filter removal system or exhaust fan was used during the process, so all the dust from sanding and drywall repair stayed on the floor. Each step kicked this up.
In the end, I decided I could do a better job at the wall repairs, which were extensive, and finding the correct parts that were lost. I am still steamed about the damage to the new dryer. (We did ask if this needed to be removed prior to work start, and were told no.)
We were also told after bringing the above to their attention, that the staple issue was covered in the fine print on the contract. NO where is the staple thing mentioned, only damage to drywall/paint from tape.
Another thing that slowed our job down was the fact that on one day, there was only one worker, who did not have a ladder to reach some areas, and he had no supplies. These were sent to a different address than ours.
The trash was left at the curb for pickup, and stayed there for 5-6 days before being picked up.
I would not recommend this company. I did the remainder of the work myself. Still trying to get mud out of carpet, and drywall mud off mantle for painting. I guess I will live with the dented dryer.
