A friend of mine/customer referred Ms*** to my companyShe needed a new liner because her liner was floating in her poolWe went out to do the work about the end of March When we went to look at her pool before the bid and the job we told her this issue with the liner will keep
happening unless she gets a sub-pump installed to remove the water from under the poolI told her without the sub pump she will be wasting her money by getting a new linerWe did not build or design the pool, we strictly added the new liner she requestedShe refused to put in a sub-pumpWhen we put in the new liner, we did not change the structure or the construction of the poolSince she was a friend of mine I even told her I would put her on a payment planThe liner was around $4000, she completely complied with the payment planWe closed her pool at the end of last year with no problemsShe still owes from closing her pool from last year and refuses to pay for the closure of the pool because of her liner issue which has nothing to do with our service of closing the poolThis year she had a different pool company open her poolThey pulled cover off the pool this year and the liner was fineShe is still without a sub-pumpThere has been a ton of torrential downpour this spring, and that caused her liner to floatShe contacted us telling us we installed her liner wrong a year ago, I told her no we did not and the reason the liner floated was because she had nothing to take water underneath the poolI warned her of this issue before we even installed the linerI had one of my workers go out when she first complained to see what the issue was and again we told her lack of sub-pumpI told her if we set the liner in she would want me to do this everytimeShe said yesI told her this was not in any way our fault and she chose to ignore our adviceI told her it was guaranteed to happen againI asked her to get other pool company opinions and they will say the same thingShe refused to do that
