We are sorry to hear that Ms. [redacted] is unhappy with Dr. [redacted] and appreciate the opportunity to respond to her comments. Ms. [redacted] presented to our office as a new patient with a tooth ache. Before services are rendered, we provide a courtesy estimate of the costs for anticipated treatment....
Ms. [redacted] accepted the treatment plan and services were completed. Post op instructions were given at that time and a follow up appointment was scheduled for one week. She called two days later in pain and discomfort and Dr. [redacted] prescribed an antibiotic and pain medication along with instructions. Ms. [redacted] returned the following week for a follow up visit and additional instructions were given. She returned two days later and insisted on additional pain medication. During this visit Dr. [redacted] examined the area and let her know that a prescribed medication was not needed and instructed an over the counter brand be taken as the area was healing successfully. Dr. [redacted] repeatedly explained that a prescription was not needed as she continued insisting and demanding that a stronger medication was needed. We apologize for the frustration Ms. [redacted] experienced with our communication process. We adjusted her account as a goodwill gesture to resolve this matter from her last visit ($93.00). We look forward to addressing any additional concerns with her directly. Dr. [redacted]The Parkway Dentist[redacted], TX [redacted]
