Habitable and liveable condition:
The landlord failed to address defects that were obvious during move-in inspection. The unit 822 has plumbing and electric issues. I moved into 822 unit on 4/22/19 during the walk through I made the staff aware the hot water wasn't working. Initially I thought it was an issue with Atlanta Gas Light because the work order to have the service turned on was scheduled for 4/24/19. Management sent maintenance check the pilot light to inquiry the problem while the work order was pending. Atlanta Gas Light arrived as scheduled on 4-22-19 to process the work order #XXXXXXXX on meter #XXXXXXX. A representative named Sebastian looked at the equipment and immediately advised I was going to have a problems with the furnace and water heater. Sebastian turned on the service externally but refused to turn on unit internally functions because he stated it was unethical. The service notes from the technician read as followed: The return air spaces are not sealed from the area where combustion air is drawn advised owner to have HVAC tech make repairs improper appliance installation (furnace). C-Wall vent is not connected to common vent and three screws or need to connect to draft-diverter advised owner to have repairs made by a certified tech (water heater). These instructions were provided to maintenance and management. Nevertheless, I've made several request regarding the issue of NOT having hot water or AC. For the last 5 days unit 822 thermostat between the hours 12p-8p have read between 80-86 degrees. The hot water works on some days and other days, I've had to boil water on the stove to have hot water. What is most disturbing about this situation the staff is aware of these problems because Atlanta Gas Light has explained it in writing. However when I call or go online the maintenance request are questionable to the staff. I've been living in this unit for less than 30 days and had made several complaints. The only thing this property is concerned with is rent payments.
Other (requires explanation) I'd like these issues to be resolved with repair handled by an individual whose knowledge of HVAC and plumbing. In addition I'd a deduction in rent payment for the month of May.

On May 20,2019 *** received a new A/C unit. On April 24, 2019 after the gas company notified the maintenance staff the issues in Ms. unit we made those repairs and lit the pilot.
