The Park at Palatine

Errick the maintenance man really cool down to earth fella. he got here very early this morning to fix the problem I was having with one of the switches for the vent and he works fast. I respect his professionalism 👊🏾😎

I currently reside in The Park at Palatine apartment complex, about two months ago I noticed there was mold growing in all the vents in my apartment, along with my furniture which was brand new at the time. After noticing the issue I notified the rent office of the issue, after about a week of the staff dragging their feet regarding the issue and me having to basically call time and time again to see how it would be resolved someone was sent out to my apartment and a humidifier was placed in. After that someone came out to take a look at the vents and the air conditioning unit and came to the conclusion that the mold was growing back of a filter with the AC unit not being properly closed, the mold was then cleaned out of all areas in the unit and my furniture was cleaned as well. I was reassured that this would be the end of this issue. Here we are 2 months later and the mold is growing back in the same places on my furniture as well as the vents. A maintenance member came by to take a look and stated that it was mold again and that it was moisture in the apartment that is causing the issue and that someone would be sent to come out and take a look at the roof to get to the bottom of the issue. Since then no one has come out to take a look at the roof, a humidifier has been placed back into my apartment and I am now being told that the issue is not mold but is 'dust and paint particles', which of course is absolutely incorrect.
