tools directly to consumers through in-home cooking demonstrations ("Cooking Shows") performed by an independent sales force of ConsultantsConsumers pay a Consultant for product purchases at a cooking show by a variety of means, including credit cardA Consultant is not an employee of TPCConsultants are independent contractors who have entered into an agreement with TPC that clearly sets forth the nature of the business relationship with TPCAs such, Consultants are in control of their own businessesTPC supports the sale of products sold in the manner that is outlined by the agreement. According to Ms*** complaint, she did not receive a refund for products that she never receivedShe has requested that we refund the total amount paid and investigate the Consultant's actionsUpon receipt of this complaint, TPC conducted and investigation into her claimsTPC records show that Gold contacted TPC on June 12, requesting a refund for $TPC created a refund and identified it as a "rush" in order to process the refundThe refund was placed on hold for internal reviewGold called and spoke to member of TPC customer service on June 16, Refund hold was release and refund was issued to Gold on June 17, For the reasons set forth above, TPC feels that this issue has been satisfactorily resolvedShould you have any questions regarding this response, please doe not hesitate to contact me. by independent sales force consultantsConsumers pay a consultant for product purchases at a Cooking Show by a variety of means, including the use of a credit cardA consultant is not an employee of TPC, but rather an independent contractor who has entered into a contract with TPC that clearly sets forth the nature of the business relationship with TPCAs such, consultants are in control of their own business and TPC supports the sale of products sold in the manner that is outlined in their contract. According to Mr*** complaint, he was offered a replacement product in lieu of a refund for a product that accumulated moldIn his opinion, he believes this solution to be inadequate because the new product will suffer the same fate.Upon receipt of this complaint, TPC has decided to offer Mr*** a refund, as he requested, to satisfy this complaintA member of the TPC Solutions Center team will be in touch as soon as possible For the reasons set forth above, TPC feels that this issue has been satisfactorily resolvedShould you have any questions regarding this response, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.-*** ***
