Review: I did not qualify for credit to purchase a [redacted] vacuum that was $ 1099.99; and the manager of the store in [redacted] agreed that I could put it on layaway and pick it up when it was paid in full. I was so excited about this I mentioned it to my mother- who in turn made acvording to her several attempts to contact the north haven and the [redacted] location. No one called her back so she contacted a site through the internet and was directed to vacuum world in [redacted] where she purchased this for an anniversary gift. My husband went to the location in [redacted] with our receipt showing I had paid 300.00 as a deposit. My husband was refused a refund. He was told that they do not give refunds. Our receipt states " all RETURNS must be made within 15 days of date of purchase" but it says NOTHING about any layaway agreement. We gave him 300.00 in 3 weeks time we contacted him, he has the merchandide back on the floor and is able to sell it- why cant I get my refund?Desired Settlement: I would like my refund given to me. People cancel layaways and get their money back. I paid in credit card but I will take either cash, check or my husband will come in with my credit card. I have lupus and have been bedridden for the past week.
