The Oaks Golf Club

This is a response to the customer complaint in Case #***.The Customer came into my business on Feb. 6th, 2020 with a bank statement showing where she had been charged $39.95 twice, for a dinner on ***. We looked up the transaction on the *** right there in front of her and showed her where it only went through our system one time. I asked her if I could keep a copy of her bank statement and that I would call my *** and find out what happened and I would get back with her. I called the *** on Feb.6th and they opened Case # *** at that time. I called the customer back on Feb. 7th and let her know that I had not heard back with and answer and that if I didn't hear back by the end of the day I would call them first thing on Monday, Feb. 10th. I called *** on Monday and they were waiting for a response back from the *** because the *** was only showing one transaction too and were trying to reach the customers bank to trace the problem. The customer called back before I got the response back so I explained what I was told.On Feb. 11th, I called the customer back to let her know that I was just gonna have a refund issued on the one transaction that was showing on my ***. On Feb. 12th the customer returned to my business and caused a scene at the counter with an employee who was not involved in any way with the process and announced to a restaurant full of people to never use their credit card here. I was not on site that day.So, as best I know right now, the customer has received a refund of $39.95 from the one transaction that went through my ***.
