This is a verbal reply taken by Revdex.com:
The consumer purchased a property, their realtor is acting as an unlicensed general contractor on the side.
The realtor hired us to deliver cabinets, however we did not install the cabinets since they found their own installers. The realtor was also looking for plumbers, so we referred plumbers in the area; the realtor hired the plumbers but stiffed them, so we had to pay the plumbers due to the referral.
The realtor asked for our letterhead with pricing as reference to get numbers for pricing of work, this is not a contract agreement with us nor were we paid for the services listed. We ended up being fined by the county $1000 because giving pricing can be viewed as acting as a general contractor even if we never agreed to provide those services or receive payment. We spoke with the county about this and went over the unlicensed general contractor services the realtor is providing.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We "do not accept" this "verbal" response from
"The Neighborhood Handyman", Matthew B., as it contains fraudulent/deceitful claims and
slanderous remarks against "the realtor" and us, "the consumer". Please, contact Collier County Growth Management Department @ ***, for truthful verification and the detailed documentations, providing proof of misconduct and negligence; including
A.) Dated emails to and from Matthew B...
B.) Bank tracers of cancelled checks
"paid to and cashed" by Matthew B...
C.) Photos of work projects left abandoned and incomplete by Matthew Burke...
Furthermore, we can, also,
provide two "fact witnesses" to affirm and support our documentations...
Because Matthew Burke was "unlicensed and uninsured", Collier County told us that
"our only option", going forward,
is to file a criminal complaint against
Matthew B., "The Neighborhood Handyman"...
