I can’t begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear this, and regrettably it was handled in a way you consider harassment. I am currently trying to get all sides of the story.
Jeff, the karaoke host is not an employee of the Monkey, and freelances
as an occasional HostHowever, Anthony is, and I will speak to him directly. Anthony is our business partner as well as employed as the operations Manager. If this situation happened on a Sunday, it is not a scheduled shift that Anthony is on, was another bartender involved in this as well? Perhaps Deebs was bartending? I would like to talk with a person that was a witness to the conversations and situation
Unfortunately, I am not able to refund your “years of money you shelled out” but I would like to send you a gift card to a place of your choice, along with my very sincere apology
I am saddened that this was a bar you enjoyed coming to for the previous years, and is a place now of such distain
I will get to the bottom of this and advise our Staff of the correct way to defuse such situations peacefully and privately with individuals
