Review: Water usage bills are being estimated. Last month the bill went from $130 to $200 (estimated). I called but their office hours are Monday - Friday 8AM to 4 PM. I call when I was at work and they said that I needed to give them a reading from the meter. I tried to explain that I was at work and did not have access to the meter. They could not explain the increase in the estimated charge. The increase was not based on anything tangible or measurable. This month the "Estimated" bill is now $328. Again, they were not able to explain the increase. I asked that they send someone over to read the meter. The last time I read the meter to them, it was misinterpreted and my monthly bill shot up to over $700 a month.

1) Decrease my bill to original estimated amount until issue is resolved2) provide extended call in or weekend phone support for people who have a job between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM (this is a service company ...)3) Schedule a time for a Metropolitan district employee can come to the house to read the meter (I will take time off work if need be)4) install and external meter so that future readings can be done by en employee outside of my house for future readings.

Called customer to make sure they had their scheduled appointment they made on 8/296/2013 for 9/28/2013 to install the meter to then update their 24 consecutive quarters of estimated billing. On each invoice they recieved it states that it is imperative to contact MDC to arrange for a meter reading to avoid finacial hardships. The final reading of the existing meter will be used to update their account. She thanked me for calling and understood the process.
