Me waiting for pre repair payment due to financing a specific repair job. I was requested to give a precise estimate over the phone so he could secure a loan , Once approved I had to wait for payment and vehicle to show up, when job was started I found parts missing and called customer, He explained another shop has already examinedI also found a more extensive repair was needed, and the condition of the engine was not brought to my attention, Before estimate I specifically asked what happened at time of failureI asked him to look at certain fluids for conditions to help pre-diagnose repairIn other words the vehicle was brought to me under pretenses.Sorry for lengthy explanation, I have paper work to explain my initial estimate, my initial explanations to customer of findings, I recommended engine replacement, He asked about his alternatives and I researched parts and prepared estimates for such, customer stated he could not afford at this time, and I again researched parts and purchased them. He proceeded to show up concerned and under the influence, I explained delays, and he approved further repair , I also have paper work and pictures to show further cost and findings during further repair, At which time I attempted to reach customer to no avail to explain and ask if he would like to assist in repairs to reduce cost, I didn't find your mailed response until Monday February 29thAt that time found out he had talked to Revdex.com and may have been instructed to not respondSince then I have received a call from *** and I have texted him that I may not be able to respond until I have finished our conversations.
