Review: I employed Lurie Glass to replace the broken glass in a small custom storm window. Over the course of three months,from August to October 2014, Lurie broke the storm window glass either in transit from their shop or in installation. The final time the storm window was dropped off at my door with the words that the Company had lost a lot of money on this and here it is. I installed the window and found that there was a large gap between the window frame and the storm window. It was useless. Winter was setting in and I took another storm window from a window frame with the same dimensions to Ace Hardware and had plexiglass cut to exact size. The plexiglass fit perfectly into the window frame that was lacking the storm window. There was no gap; it was perfect. I wrote Lurie twice stating the facts, asking for a refund of $132 I paid. They claimed I OK'd cutting down the storm window, stating no guarantee -- I never heard these words and never accepted this proposal.Desired Settlement: As stated in my narrative, I simply ask for a refund of just the $132 I paid Lurie Glass for replacement of the broken glass, even though the custom storm window was ruined and is now totally useless.
