The Local Painters

I had scheduled one painter, with The Local Painters, for 4 hours to come out and trim in my ceiling in living room and stairs. I was told that I would have to pay $275 for the rate of one painter for 8 hrs. Two painters showed up and didn't even have a ladder to use. They called their boss and he asked if I would go to [redacted] with his painters and purchase a ladder for them to use and deduct it from the fee. One painter worked for 4 hours while the other one just stood around the entire 4 hours. They said they were done and that the paint was still wet. They told me to check the walls when the paint dried and if there were spots that needed retouched or a second coat then they would come out and fix them free. I received an email that day that said I had to pay the full fee before the painters left. Which I did, and then the next day when I checked the walls there were spots everywhere that needed touched back up with a second coat of paint. I emailed their office and they told me that if I wanted the painters to come back out I would have to pay another days rate. I explained to them what had taken place with their painters. Still they said there was nothing they could or would do unless I paid again. I tried several times to explain my side to them and it did not help. I told them that they were unprofessional in asking me to purchase a ladder and that not trying to help solve the problem that their painters left was not very professional and I would contact Revdex.com. The owner did not care. At last result, I emailed them again and stated that I would take whatever legal action I could against them if they didn't want to send someone back to fix the mistakes the first painters left. The owner emailed me some very foul words and very foul suggestions at what I could do with my legal actions.Product_Or_Service: PainterDesired SettlementI would like a painter to come out and fix the mistakes the first painters left, only if the painter that does come out isn't rude or show me disrespect or does a poor job because of this complaint. Otherwise, I would like a full refund of the fee I paid, so I can get someone else from a different company to come out and fix the mistakes.
