*** *** In regards to the below complaint I have the following response The unit #was flooded by the unit aboveWe have the insurance case opened and it lasted awhileTenants did not live in the unit during water damage remediationTenants requested to be released from their
lease and received our approval The owner hired water damage remediation company that did the work and yes, they must have used up a lot of electricity but the account was in tenant's name while the remediation was happening and while we were negotiating with the tenants regarding their getting out of the leaseOnce we got the approval to release them from the lease The Legacy Realty transferred electricity to their name To this day we did not see a request from the former tenants to pay a portion of the electric bill, nor we rec'd the actual bill If tenants make a request and provide a copy of the bill, we will be looking into reimbursement of the electric cost for the days the remediation started happening and to the date we transferred electricity to The Legacy Realty nameIf an official request was made and a copy of electric bill was provided to us we request that the proof of it is to be sent to us again for review In regards to other complaints we would like to request specific details about what happened and when and we will respond We appreciate a prompt response
