Response:The parents enrolled their child in our center in November of 2016. Since she started, she was issued a rate sheet that they signed to reflect her daily hours (Please see attached) and we kindly asked to bring her child in earlier, which otherwise reflected change of rate sheet. told by our previous director that her rates were changing, so when she was made aware, she demanded a change of rates back to her original monthly payments. Owners change the rate sheet to original to avoid misunderstanding which was caused between parent and previous director to honor parents request. Regardless of the rate change, the family did not pay their monthly amount since November of 2016 and repeatedly told us that she did not owe us anything. Since the family's balance was significantly high, we sat down with the father and created a payment plan that worked for him, which he signed as well as the director and assistant director of the center (Please see attached). We continued to reach out to parents on daily basis while they would pick up their child from last one month but we still did not receive any payment according to the payment plan dad have signed. After several attempts to talk to the parents, they did not comply with the payment plan that was signed by the father and refused to make another payment. We also reached out to the mother to give her final notice before we terminate the services in order to make payment or even if they would like to make new payment plan in order to clear debt in couple months. The amount mother again offered including weekly fee was not enough to cover the debt in next couple months and would apparently raise the debt slowly. We, as a center, then made the decision to not allow her to bring her child back into the building and next day she came to collect her belongings on Tuesday, July 18th, while she was picking her child’s belonging except her art work. While picking up the stuff she has also used foul language which is against child care policy with our assistant director because we requested to provide the art work later as it would have taken time to collect all art work. We then reached out to the father regarding the child’s art work and will be mailing out the art work to the parent within week.
