The Leadership Grants Organization of Canada

I have applied three different times all with more information then the last application and the last two times we had matching funds. Only to be told we needed matching funds to be considered. I will suggest it is a feeder organization for the company that offers to write you a business plan for a fee. Lets see some proof that you have actually allocate funds to any company that has applied! Leadership indeed ???

Luckily, I did not agree to hire their suggested grant writers who told me something along the lines of "we can write your plan, which will improve your chances of getting a possible $50,000 - $100,000 for your business. We charge around $4,000 to write it but we can do yours today for $2,999".

Right then and there I became suspicious. I still went ahead and wrote a business plan, which took me about 3 weeks to complete. I submitted it before the due date and never heard back. Months after, I followed up and heard nothing from Shelley B. (my point of contact). I looked up the website in February 2018 and a statement said that they are now away until further notice.
