I spoke to [redacted] on the phone as a referral by a friend in regards to a child custody issue I was having. I only spoke with [redacted] briefly (maybe 15 minutes) as to some options and what his retainer would be should I decide to pursue the matter. I told him I would be in touch if I decided to go that route. I ended up resolving the issue on my own and about a month later I received a $900+ bill for his law firm. I was in total shock. I emailed his assistant explaining the situation and that I would contact the Board of Lawyers if he didn't make this situation right. I still proceeded to receive a bill every month. Now he is threatening to sue me. [redacted] is a thief and dishonest person.
