I ordered a sofa from THe JOe Factor on 6.19.20 . I was told it would take 6 weeks to come in. I called the company on 9.2.20. I was told it would be in by 9.17.20. On 9.17.20, I called and spoke to Cassandra. She told me it was not in yet and would be in on 9.21.20. I told her I wanted a refund and she said " ok, I will let the know". On 9.21.20, I called again to see if the sofa had arrived. I called the company 4 times and no one picked up. No one has contacted me to tell me my sofa is here and I have not received a refund. I paid $619.09 for the sofa including shipping. I would like a refund asap.

*** did purchase a sofa on June 19, 2020. The sofa needed to be ordered and the time frame should have been 6 weeks. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the furniture manufactures have stopped or slowed production on much of their product. This is something we have no control over. Due to the state of the nation with the pandemic, many orders have been pushed back several times, as to when we will be receiving them. I was standing next to Cassandra when Ms. called on Sept. 21, 2020. Cassandra politely tried to explain this to her. At the end of the telephone call, Ms. insisted on a refund. The paperwork for the refund comes to me to process. I was processing the refund when we received notice from our merchant company that Ms. *** had contacted them and was disputing the charge to the credit card. At this time, I stopped processing the refund payment. A couple of days later, the chargeback came through our Merchant company and was deducted from our bank. I am attaching proof of this to this form. As to when Ms. called back to us several times with no answer, we did have a couple of days that the phones went down. Customers were either getting no answer or a message saying the phones were not working. While the phone company came out to repair them right away, it was not an easy fix due to several problems with the road construction outside our building. I apologize to *** that we could not please her and get her the merchandise in a timely manner. We strive to make our customers happy and pride ourselves in the many repeat customers we have.
