Review: For services rendered in November 2013, this company continues to bill me. I went to this facility and met with several people there (case workers) because I did not have health insurance at the time because I had just moved to NYC and hadn't started working yet. They told me that I would be able to be seen by the doctor for free.
Now, they keep sending me bills and every month. When I get a new bill in the mail, I call them to talk to a case worker about getting the issue resolved. I have called once a month for the past 4 months and each time I have to leave a detailed voicemail because no one will answer. Since no one will answer, return a voicemail, or such, I have made it clear to billing that I will not be paying this bill.
I'm the type of person who likes all bills to be handled when received to avoid complications down the line. Even on these bills, they claim "Our statement process has changed and we apologize for delays during this transition. Our staff is available to assist you with your questions. Thank you." And I have called their main office at ###-###-#### with all questions as well as the office of which I was seen at which is located in [redacted] (New York, NY).
This company is poorly run and no one seems to be on the same page. It's no wonder that no one returns my calls because they don't have an answer. Regardless,
A) The services rendered do not correspond with the charges.
B) I was specifically told on that day that I would receive medical care free of charge due to my lack of finances.Desired Settlement: This company needs to cancel my bill. I have no problem paying things that are specifically outlined when services were rendered but I will not pay for services I was told were free but now they decide to charge for.
