My husband and I hired The Inspectors Company to inspect a house we’re in the process of buyingYou don’t hire an inspection company to give you piece of mind, rather to give you an honest assessment of the house’s condition so you can make informed decisions about your purchaseI feel they provided an honest and thorough inspection and gave us valuable information to move forward with our negotiationsThe two inspectors were knowledgeable, courteous, punctual, and took their time to explain the issues they came across The house we’re buying is mostly original from the late 50’s, in need of significant updating, and served as a rental property for the last several years, so we knew to expect a fair amount of issues and they presented as much detailed information as they couldBeing recent transplants from a another state with a much different climate, we’re not accustomed to the local building codes and some of the more common building materials/practices down here (like stucco) so I appreciate them taking the time to answer the questions we hadWe received the written report by the end of the next day which echoed what we witnessed firsthandAs a side note, I appreciate that they offer a discount to union membersI do my research when hiring a service and this was the only company that I came across that offered such a discountI also like the transparency on their websiteThey explain all their services and, more importantly, they list all their prices so you know what to expect up frontOverall, I am pleased with their service and would use them again
