Here is our response to the complaints from Mr *** for the home inspection on the mentioned property. The home inspector did mention possible fungal growth in the inspection report. Here is the copied statement that appears in the home inspection. "Noted possible
fungal growth, damaged wood on the sill plate/band board near the crawl space entranceRecommend professional to assess to possible treatment/repair." There are multiply comments in the home inspection report regarding electrical issues. All of the electrical items mentioned in the report are items that are within the scope of the home inspection. I recommend Mr *** forward the home inspection report on to the Revdex.com for their review. The home is years old has block foundation, the home inspector did mention and has picture of cracking on the block foundation and it was noted as typical corner cracking on foundation. It is not uncommon to find cracking in the foundation walls for this type of constructionUnfortunately Mr *** was not present for the inspection. Had he been able to attend he would have witness the inspection and been able to see the due diligence of the inspector and the inspection process. After reviewing the inspection report I do not feel that the home inspector was negligent and he even went out of his way without further compensation, to make a second trip back to the home to inspect the attic area which was blocked at the time of the initial inspection
The client was notified in the home inspection that the a/c unit was not tested due to exterior temperature being below degrees at time of inspection This is standard practice for air conditioners during the home inspections for cold weather months. Thanks very
