The Headshop Wigs

Received a hairpiece that was dirty and defective. IMMEDIATELY emailed company to which they refused to acknowledge, inquire about or resolve the problem, so at further expense to myself, paid to return the not as advertised bad merchandise. The company attempts to force sales on consumers and is deliberately unclear on policies to try and force more unwanted sales. The company does not address quality, health or safety issues and sells wigs that have been previously worn, as new.

I would like to share my experience with this company although I understand that this company does not respond to Revdex.com and that this review won't benefit me. However, I do so, just as the other reviewer listed here said - to warn anybody that this company would not work with me when my purchased product did not work. So order at your own risk. I purchased a wig which visually by the picture shown on the website and by it's name "maple sugar" seemed to indicate it would arrive in a medium brown color which is what I've worn for years. It arrived as golden blonde in color which indicates to me that wig colors are not as shown on website photos.. I would never order a wig in golden blonde nor could I wear a wig this color and not feel uncomfortable. I called the next day to see if a dark brown was available for exchange. It wasn't. Not only would this company not work with me with a refund or exchange of another wig style in a dark brown, they were dismissive and somewhat rude in conversation. Most companies that I deal with such as ***, *** etc, make every effort to make sure that I'm satisfied with a sale when the request is reasonable and the product is undamaged. To be fair, I take responsibility for not noting pre-purchase that the company policy is "no returns or exchanges on clearance items" and this was one.. I just thought that the color received was so extreme and since a dark brown was not available that an exception would be made in this case.So fair warning, if you order from HSW and it doesn't work forget about any consideration for your plight. I will never order from HSW again.

It was inadvertently sent back to them by the post office and they wanted $15 dollars more to resend it. I asked for a refund instead and they gave me $60 back on a $150 purchase. It's not a return if you never receive the merchandise to begin with. Bad business! I never received the wig I ordered.
