I am rejecting this response because: it's not accuratePlease notice the pictures the owner sentPlease notice the lookThis is not acceptableThe black line is still very dominant in these picturesThe roots are WAY darker than the rest of my headIt's noticeable and not in a good wayWhen I reached my house and looked in my mirror, I was upsetMy stylist, Randy, did not meet any of my objectivesWho would go to a salon and pay good money to come out looking like what I did? How can the owner not see that this is not acceptable? As soon as I noticed this, I called the salon immediatelyI wanted to talk to the managerYes, Randy did offer to bring me inWhen she offered, she said she wouldn't be able to spend very much time on me and that she only works FridaysHer next avail wouldn't be until next FridayThis is when I contacted the ownerI demanded a refund and expressed my reasons whyShe said my timing was difficult and then she suggested I give Randy another shot. My husband was not inappropriateHe's a soft teddy bearHe's in the customer service industry and his name means everything to himHe's not the type to corner a femaleThat is a very unfair statement and totally out of line. The heart of the issue is that I was not satisfied with my services as my stylist was unable to meet my requests and in turn, I demanded a refundI was not treated respectfully when I asked for my money backI was told that in her industry, money is not refundedThis makes no senseWhy would I want them to "try" again? I wasn't the least bit satisfied with the initial results. AS for the poor reviews, they were based on my experience and they were honestWhy wouldn't I try to warn someone else? I have had to deal with this for way too longI have since found a salon that was able to fix my hair and it looks greatI wouldn't recommend this business to anyoneI feel that they operate outside of customer serviceThey put profits ahead of customers. It's unfortunate that they would not refund my money, nor ever will.
Sincerely,

We have all documentations necessary to validate our side of the story.  We can provide written statements from the guests that were in the salon at the time of [redacted]'s visit and her husband, [redacted], two visits. First, let me thank you for taking the time to try to resolve the complaint [redacted] had with my business. I realize that this is a courtesy that you have no obligation to provide.[redacted] called into my salon and requested a balayage service for February 9th, 2018. Balayage is defined on the Redken...

website as “This pretty-sounding French term, which means to sweep or paint, also has a very pretty effect on hair. During a Balayage service, which is a highlighting technique, a colorist paints bleach or haircolor just on the surface of your hair freehand; he or she doesn’t saturate the entire section with hairdye. The result is soft, natural-looking, sun-kissed highlights that easily blend in as hair grows longer.”https://www.redken.com/blog/haircolor/which-popular-haircolor-techniqu... service seemed to be appropriate since she came in with a solid line of demarcation from her last color service that she disliked. She never mentioned wanting ALL of her greys covered or Randy would have selected a base color with highlights. She seemed to love her hair and was charged our published rate of $140. Later that day, she called to say that she could still see grey and wanted more color. We happily rescheduled for our next available appointment on February 16th, 2018. She was told at this time that it would be complimentary to adjust her results.February 11th, a day that the salon is closed for business, I received a text from her on my personal cell phone. She demanded a full refund because she could still see grey hairs and she wanted her line of demarcation from her previous color service blended more. She couldn’t wait until her Friday appointment and had scheduled for Monday, February 12th, with Seaport Salon.  I invited her to choose any stylist in the salon, including myself, to adjust her color and explained that sometimes consultations result in miscommunication. She then called my cell two more times, left an voicemail stating she would not come back in and let us see her hair.  She demanded a full refund, plus tip. I explained that I was leaving on vacation and would contact her upon my return, February 20th.  Honestly, I was hoping her appointment at another salon would give her a second expert consultation that highlights blend grey but they do not cover completely. She needs a base color, highlights and a toner to achieve her desired results she is now asking for and that she was charged appropriately for a balayage. Seaport published rates start at $150 for balayage, with all over color starting at $65 and toners at $30. http://www.seaportsalon.com/service/hair/ She texted my phone twice on February 12th, travelling, I did not respond. [redacted] wrote on North Kitsap Community Page on Facebook that she was charged almost $200 among other negative remarks. See attachment. Vacationing and away from my phone, her husband called me six times between 12:30 and 7pm and [redacted] texted me 3 times on the February 15th.  [redacted]’s husband [redacted] entered my salon to confront Liz, our junior stylist, alone. In her words “he wouldn’t accept my answer and was in the shop for quite a while, he was speaking to me very disrespectfully to where my client wanted to defend me.”  This account has been collaborated by her guest, [redacted], Liz called my husband for support.  We contacted Poulsbo Police Department and spoke with Officer Gessell. On his advice, I texted [redacted] and instructed her and her husband not to harass my staff and or we would call the police.  [redacted] writes a false narrative of her experience on our Yelp and Google review. February 18th, [redacted] texted my cell. February 21st, [redacted] returned to the salon, this time with a different story. [redacted] was afraid to come into the salon because her last three appointments, each at different salons, have not resulted in what she wanted. In a statement from the guest that was waiting for me while I was talking to [redacted], “it seemed he wanted to extort a refund or face a bad review.” [redacted]. February 22nd, [redacted] files Revdex.com complaint.Attached are the texts including pictures she has sent. If you have a colorist review the pictures, you will see they are not of the same timeframe.  Two pictures show a head of hair with two inches of grow out on a 40% grey head of hair, with bleach blonde midshaft and ends. One picture shows no growout, 5% grey, warm midshaft and ends. Yet another shows minimal growout, no distinguishable grey, warm midshaft and ends.  Randy only highlighted the new growth. We could tell which picture is accurate if she would have come in, in a timely manner. We are consulting with an attorney to seek damages for her libel statements.                She was charged $140 for a service she requested and received                She was offered to come back in at no additional charge                We do not offer a money back guarantee                There is nothing technically wrong with her hair                She has misrepresented every statement I have made, including my presence at her service                I have been in business for 20 years. We have performed thousands upon thousands of color services and this is our first Revdex.com complaint.  Hopefully our track record speaks for itself.[redacted] is due for another color service at this point. I sincerely hope she has better luck with her next stylist. I’m referencing a great example of the protocol for this exact situation. https://www.xojane.com/beauty/hate-my-new-haircut-colorI appreciate your time and effort. Thank you,Terri S[redacted]OwnerThe Head Hunter360.394.177720174 Front St NE, Suite 101Poulsbo WA 98370

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I too have proof that the hair stylist didn't meet my objectives. As for as I'm concerned, neither did the owner. I am disappointed in the business practice of not refunding my money quickly and suggesting that I wait a week plus to fix my hair. I wasn't going to allow Randy to touch my hair again and Terri was gone for two weeks from date I went in. Why did she expect me to walk around town with my hair so ugly? That seems really unfair. The two attached photos will hopefully make clear that my set objectives were not met. I don't think anyone would be satisfied with my results. Dear Revdex.com, could you assign a rep to manage this case? It's too draining to continue answering Terri's claims that I am wrong. She has no desire to make things right for me. She is now threatening a lawsuit. All I wanted was my money back and to move on, never to return. This has been too emotional.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
