The Haymount House

Review: On January [redacted] 2014 myself and my fianc booked a wedding at the Haymount House, a farm to table [redacted] restaurant, scheduled to be on November [redacted] 2015. We have been trying to speak with the Haymount House since September to finalize some details on our event and to change some of the specifics. For starters they originally lost our wedding contract and had no idea who we were or when I wedding was booked for. We were originally dealing with [redacted] their wedding coordinator. She was able to assist us with some of the items such as our date change to September [redacted] 2015. However some of the items were out of her control and she told us that [redacted], the [redacted], would be in contact with us to finalize the details of our wedding contract. We have been calling and texting with [redacted] for months now and on numerous occasions we were told we would hear from [redacted] in the next few days. It has been 6 months now and we have still yet to hear back from [redacted]. Over the last month I have left messages on the Haymount House business line. For well over a month their business line has said they are "close for renovations". However according to their wedding coordinator they are in the process of going through a change of [redacted] at the business which continues to be pushed back. Our wedding is now suppose to take place a mere 6 months from now and we have still yet to be able to book any vendors or inform our guests of our wedding information so they could arrange to fly in for our wedding. Not only does the Haymount House have such horrible customer service and hospitality that we were forced to look elsewhere for our wedding since [redacted] refused to call us back. We also booked our wedding since it was a farm to table restaurant and now they are going through [redacted] changes, chef changes and their entire concept is going to turn into a catering hall. We are requesting our full $3,000 deposit to be returned immediately. Those people have ruined our wedding.Desired Settlement: $3,000 deposit that was left in the form of a check on January [redacted] 2014.
