I am rejecting this response because: I never hiredthem from [redacted] list. I contacted Scott on his web site that does not have a 75 fee.  Unless he can prove that he was hired on [redacted] lists the fee needs to be returned.

We take customer service very seriously and take tremendous pride in our A rating on [redacted] List (the 81 A reviews should speak for themselves.)  We clearly state the following on our [redacted] List profile "We are a no-surprises company. Our service and diagnostic charge is $75 and for that we...

will send out a fully certified technician in a fully stocked truck. We will do a thorough evaluation and find out exactly what's going on. If we find that it is something simple, there may not be any additional charge. However, If there is a more serious issue, We will show you some options before we do any work so that we only do work that you approve.”   We understand that you only had a budget of $200 for this project and were disappointed to learn that the real cost of the job was going to be closer to $1400. But we couldn’t be more clear about the fact that when we send out a licensed plumber to your home, there is a minimum fee of $75. With the many years of experience we have, we don’t need a tape measure to determine how many feet of straight pipe we’ll need on a project like this one and gave you an honest estimate of what the price would be.  We are sorry this experience wasn’t a pleasant one for you.
