We just had our roof replaced after the winter weather We only had a couple of estimates, one was just for a repair We knew when we bought the house from HUD that it would have a few problems When we had Van Martin come out to look at the roof, we told them that the roof had been replaced in from Hurricane Ike, also thinking that it had been a DIY (do it yourself), after working in the yard and finding old shingles and the back porch roof not being replaced We were correct the roof was a DIY, Anyway, they replaced our whole roof, replaced, even notified us that our chimney would have to come down because of the rotting around the roof line because of water leakage, paid an additional cost that was very reasonableGREAT JOB VAN MARTIN ROOFING

I just had a complete tear off with two layers of old materials. July 2014 The home is 50 years old and I think the first layer was the original roof. The sheething was almost completly rotted, wet and or just gone over most of the roof (which I had expected). I dealt with [redacted] and he told me what we may be looking at once they got into the roof so I knew a head of time that the cost may go up. The crew got out and started early and was done by that evening, to include complete clean up. They did a fantastic job and not just in the workmanship, but the system they used for my very low pitch roof was superb and gives me an extra piece of mind. This system was not even offered by the other three estimates that I got from other companies. Yes, I did my research! I would recommend this company to anyone that is needing not just a new roof, but a new QUALITY roof!
