Good Morning ,   The resident gave us a 15 day written notice per our agreement (lease requires a 30 day written notice) Per the lease, the resident must pay through the notice. The resident surrendered the unit prior to their written notice, according to the lease this would be a breach of...

contract. When the contract is not fulfilled the resident is charged the reletting fee -85% of one month’s rent which in this instance it would be $752.25. Instead of charging the resident the $752.25 for not fulfilling their lease we charged them the rent through the day of their notice. In this case, she was charged less.  This resident was charged a final water bill also through the day of her notice. When the resident moved out we charged according to the notice presented, which was the route that was most beneficial to the residents.   Regards, [redacted]
