Repair not completed and money charged to Warranty company which charged deductible to me No process of taking customer confirmation for repairs My washed needed repairI have appliance warranty service through American Home Shield(AHS)AHS created ticket and referred service to Gulf appliance repair on 2/17/ Late March the technician from Gulf repairs showed up and took photographs for the washerHe specified he need to order the part (rubber gasket) and come back with the partTechnician came back in weeks with the partTried to installed it, but was not able to do it, since it was wrong partHe stated that he need to order another part and come backI waited for the call from Gulf appliance for may weeksThen on Jun 6, AHS informed me via email that service request is completed and I will be charged $I was surprised and contacted AHS and Gulf appliance on Jun 7, AHS told me to contact Gulf applianceGulf appliance told me to open new ticket
This company was dispatched by American Home Shield to fix my refrigerator They claimed they fixed it but never have I had to pay a $service fee to American Home Shield to have my refrigerator fixed Gulf Appliance was supposed to fix it They came to my home multiple times but never fixed it and in fact made the problem worse At the last visit they said they needed to order a new thermostat to fix the problem then the technician left saying that would take two weeks When I called to follow up, they said the repair request had been closed and they had no more information They said I would have to open up a new request with American Home Sheild They said no parts were ordered and they had no record that the problem was outstanding
Terrible Service and unable to fix a simple switch Waited 3+ months Working through American Home Shield, this company was supposed to come out and take a look at a switch to raise and lower an exhaust fan on a stove The company came out within a week and said they had to get a part I have been waiting for over months and the company has been unable to "find" the part When I call, one of the people that answer the phone is very nice but has no pull The other woman is rude, nasty and has hung up on me multiple times Ironically just the other day I went online to find the part and it took less than minutes This is complete incompetence and rude service I highly recommend NO ONE work with this company
Lack of customer service and technical competency to deliver product and service to properly fix refrigerator This company should take a step back and re-evaluate their business and training. There is LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, TECHNICAL COMPETENCY, AND ABILITY TO MANAGE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS, ISSUES, AND CONCERNS. Gulf Appliance Repair was dispatched to me through American Home Shield home warranty for a work order to fix my refrigerator. This work order was originally assigned to another contractor but transferred to Gulf Appliance Repair. The problem I have with my refrigerator was that the transfer fridge was freezing food. It is important to mention again that this is only problem I have with my refrigerator: transfer fridge freezing food. A technician diagnosed this issue and determined a part (valve ASM) had to be replaced. A technician returned to replace and install the valve and left. Shortly after the work order was completed, my refrigerator started making a very loud motor-
Since september I have been calling to receive a refund on a cancelled service, called atleast 2-time in a month and emailed quiet few times however there was no responseWhen talk to the secretary there was no positive response from her eitherthere is nothing I can do and was transfered to billing department where nobody pickup the phone plus go rerouted to her and was told by the end of the day the refund will be processed this was in month of NovemberNow it almost end of DecemberNo return callsyet or refund I see on my credits
