I was interested in renting an apartment in this community. I paid the $150 deposit to hold the apartment. Unfortunately, an unforeseen circumstance came up and I had to return to the complex to ask for a refund of the deposit, which was. within the 48hr window for applicants to receive their refunds. I spoke to [redacted], the community manager to request my refund and cancel the hold for the apartment. I was advised that a check for the refund would be mailed to my residence no later Monday(which was 7 days later) . The check was never mailed. I called the apartment complex for the next two weeks and every time I called I was told that they would leave a message for the manager to return my call. No phone calls were ever returned. By week 3, I was in contact with someone by the name of [redacted] who said the check would be in my mailbox within the next 3 days because it was being mailed from the regional office. The check NEVER came in the mail. I returned to the apartment complex and spoke to [redacted] once again and after further review it was stated by [redacted] that the check was never issued or sent out as I was told initially. This LACK of professionalism is completely unacceptable and I will NEVER recommend this community.
