The Endoscopy Center

The Endoscopy center told me my insurance was acceptable prior to my outpatient surgeryI arrived for the surgery, prepped, and got on the operating table - then they told me that I would have to pay $right then, and another $later, to complete the appointmentWhile I was on the table! Fast forward one year and dozens of insurance issues later, the billing office ( [redacted] , ***, and ***) has some of my money held without noticeI had called them because they sent my account to collections, when I had a positive balance! They told me that a "backlog issue" caused them to accept payment up front, but never told them to send out refundsThis is to the tune of nearly $that they held on toI asked when I could receive my funds, they said they would get back to meI called them two weeks later (today) and they told me my check was mailed to an address that I no longer use, and they never confirmed any information with me prior to doing so Within this debacle, their office staff is rude and practically incapable of resolving these issues without a supervisor's help, whom is never around Please do not do business with these people
