Don’t waste your time or money. Crooks, ripped off a widow! Get a lot of estimates for tree work, don’t go with them!

I received one estimate for a project addressing a leak in my cinder block basement located at a front corner of the house, that was approved, executed, billed and paid for. This project included the use of an underground camera, hydro jetting footer drains and re-configuring slope of land/flowerbeds away from the house. A second estimate was generated on site for possibly two additional areas of work, as the completed and billed work was not effectively solving the issue they were hired to address. Only one portion of the second estimate was completed yet I was billed for nearly the entire amount of the estimate. When questioned the business representative has given various reasons for the billing including : additional costs ($1409) for the first project that was already billed and payed, and that tools and man hours were required on two days, indicating billing was based per day used, not per project quoted as demonstrated. They additionally claim that I had other options that I did not choose, such as tearing out the finished walls in my basement to expose the full scope of the problem....which I don't have as the entire interior basement wall is painted cinder block. It should be noted that there is two months difference in the dates of the invoices.
How can a business decide to tack on additional charges from a completed and paid invoice two months later? Vogel Landscaping is fraudulently billing me for services not rendered. I have estimates, invoices, communication, pictures and text messages to support my dispute. I had to hire another company that effectively, efficiently and professionally addressed my needs and solved my problem and provided me with in-depth updates and photo documentation of their work. Vogel Landscaping provided nothing of the sort.
