My husband bought our daughters 2 box springs on sunday 8/12/18. I had just remodeled their room they used to have bunkbeds so they didnt have box springs. My daughters have been waking up all week with new bites on them last night 8.17.18 I woke my one daughter up to find a bed bug crawling in bed with her. The next day I took the black fabric on the botton of the boxsprings off so I could start treating for the bed bugs. When I took it off I noticed that it had 2 layers of fabric on both of the box springs I took the top layer off to find that all they did was recover an old dirty boxspring to make it look new. I have pictures and video of me taking it apart. I dont have the receipt my husband bought them n we both didnt think we still needed it we thought they were brand new so we shouldnt have had any problems with them. If u dont take the black bottom part off you wouldnt know that they are re done. They look brand new and if my kids wouldnt have been dinner for the bedbugs that came with them I wouldnt know the difference either. My kids look like they have been dinner for a while I have pictures and video of this ive had to throw the boxaprings and mattresses out now. I have the one bug that I caught in a bag. They are being nasty saying they arent their boxsprings that they are my old ones. But I took a screenshot of our bank statement of the purchase. If they have security footage then they can see my husband buy them 2.
