complaint, I contacted [redacted] to come in to collect her cash payout for the previous month and to collect items that had not sold. She did come in Friday, November 3, 2017. At that time I paid her cash for items that had sold. I refused additional items that she brought because my business plan is to scale back on consignment. I set an appointment with her for sometime between the 11th and 13th of November, for her to come back and pick up the rest of her consigned items. I was open at the time, with customers, so I was unable to pull inventory, list and prepare a return. [redacted] said she was going out of town and was agreeable toleaving her items until she returned on the 11th. It's not really clear to me why [redacted] would state in her complaint that I had been closed for two months. I'm open 5 days per week and by appointment. When I was hired to do a decorating assignment out of state, (not "help move someone"), my wife had the store open 3 of these 5 days, both weeks I was gone. On a personal note, my business is just shy of 3 years. As a small merchant in a big world, being closed for two months wouldn't be remotely feasible. Respectfully,Sarah E[redacted], OwnerThe Clearing Antique Shoppe
