RE: *** *** Case No*** Dear Ms***, Cottonwood Financial Idaho, LLC d/b/a The Cash Store (hereinafter referred to as "Cottonwood") is in receipt of correspondence from the Revdex.com ("Revdex.com") dated April 12, regarding a consumer complaint filed by Ms***
***In her complaint, Ms*** stated she received an unlawful call on a Sunday regarding her loan balance with CottonwoodMs*** requests that all calls stopCottonwood has reviewed the file and offers the following response: On December 30, Ms*** entered into an ACH-secured installment cash advance loan with Cottonwood for a principal amount of $She was informed of the loan terms and conditions at the time of the loan, and was also provided a copy for her records after she reviewed and signed themMs*** scheduled payment due was attempted via automated clearing house ("ACH") on March 15, but was returned due to her account being closed; her account subsequently went into debt status on March 21,Per Cottonwood's collection process, when a loan is defaulted on, Cottonwood will call the customer to make him/her aware of the debt and to offer options so that the customer may return to Preferred Customer StatusBeginning March until April 4, the store attempted to get Ms*** account in good standing but was unsuccessful; her account was then forwarded to Cottonwood's internal collection departmentAlthough Cottonwood is not recognized as a debt collector because it collects its own debts using Cottonwood's name, and not another name to indicate a third person is collecting on behalf of Cottonwood, Cottonwood abides by the principles prescribed by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA") and all employees are trained to comply with the FDCPAMs*** stated in her complaint that she received a call on a Sunday, which she claimed is unlawfulCottonwood respectfully disagrees: per section of the FDCPA, a debt collector "shall assume that the convenient time for communicating with a consumer is after o'clock antemeridian and before o'clock postmeridian, local time at the consumer's location"No explicit restriction exists regarding what days of the week a debt collector may contact consumers until the consumer informs the debt collector that it is inconvenientAfter researching the call log for Ms***, it was found that Cottonwood placed a call at 8:PM Central Time zone, equating to 7:PM Mountain Time zone, on Sunday, April I No prior notice was given to Cottonwood by Ms*** that phone calls placed on Sundays would be inconvenient; therefore Cottonwood complied with FDCPA regulationsCottonwood will honor Ms*** request to cease all phone callsPlease note that Ms*** is still responsible for repayment of her loan to CottonwoodThe loan agreement signed by Ms*** is still in force and she remains contractually obligated to satisfy the outstanding balanceIf you have any questions or need additional information, please contact me via email at ***@cottonwoodfinancial.comBest regards, Liliana R*** Compliance Clerk Cottonwood Financial Idaho, LLC

Absolutely non-responsive. I called a week prior to the date I wanted to have the company come out to provide me a plumbing estimate. The initial interaction was positive, with the person on the phone being happy and cheerful. The appointment was set, and then the day arrived. The representative did not show up as scheduled. I called to check on what was happening and they said they'd check and call me right back. They didn't call back! I called two more times in a short time period trying to determine if they were going to provide the estimate. I ended up leaving a message, and they didn't bother to return the call. My recommendation - select another firm that is committed to customer service. Noah's Plumbing certainly isn't.

Yes, I continue to receive phone calls from The Cash Store. #ffffff;" />
I was told that their client wrote my number down as a contact. I instructed them that they are not to call at either of the two numbers (my home and my work) as I do not see their client and rarely talk to him as we are estranged. The calls have been continuing regardless of my instructions.

Review: I have a loan out with this place. my loan is due for every other friday, which happens to fall on my payday week. last time I paid this loan in the amount of $120.00 in cash at the establishment. this time around they took the amount out of my banking account without my permission in the amount of $118.00. this was done without my permission or verification. they had my banking info because they needed it when I filled out my loan application, and also assured me that they will only need it to add money to my account if the loan was approved and thats the only reason they need my banking info. the original loan is for $500.00, they said they can take the money out whenever they want, and I said I never agreed to them debiting money out of my account, so they responded back with "i owe them $5,000.00 to pay off the loan, when the original loan was taken exactly one month ago in the amount of $500.00 not $5,000.00!!!! this is a scam, they already took money outy of my account without authorization and i'm afraid they will keep doing it without my approvasl. and because of this unauthorized debit from my account, I have overdraft fees and other bills arent paid, in total because of the unauthorized debit I lost a total of $152.72 in overdraft fees and lost money and bounce check fees. this place is charging way too high interest as well, in the amount of 650%. beware if this scam. the actual address was the east side location . 2030 e. mason st. suite j green bay,wi 54302Desired Settlement: refund in the amount of $152.72, which is my total loses up to date because of the unauthorized debit from my bank account
