Hi [redacted] this so I read all the highlighted areas that Mrs [redacted] said that were falseAll I can say is I totally disagree with her and I understand she is upset and is just trying to get a refund issued to herWe have done all we could to help her by honroing a $credit only towards a Paid in Full membership, that we will still honorBut I disagree that I rudely kicked her outShe was arguing with my front desk staff being loud while I had a current class coming in with clients in the lobbyI told her that we can not weigh her in due to the default on her contract.I WISH I can comment on the rest but as a buisness I truly cant comment back on all her accusations she acussing us onI belive we did our best as a buisnessWhats our next step
I am rejecting this response because:
When I Attendend the informative talk before signing the document [redacted] told me that I only needed one challenge to have my money back, and now she says I need two challenges. I lost 23 pounds in the first challenge and I can't do another Challenge because I only need 9 pounds to be in my weight and [redacted] said that I have to lose 20 pounds more to have my money back, I can not risk my health, I can't lose 20 pounds more, Also in the middle of the challenge I felt bad and she just said when you finish go to see a doctor but dont faint in my gym. , so according to her tricky contract there is no way to have my money back, My wife is in the opposite situation, she lost 9 pounds and now , so according to her contarct there is no way to have my money back, is on her perfect weight but like she didnt lost 20 pounds she wont have her money back. Now she is backed With a contract that should be analyzed and corrected.
Cyndi Orosco signed up for our 6 Week Challenge on September 9, 2016 and paid $497 with check no. 1005. She attended our nutrition seminar on September 10, 2016 and received a nutrition bible. She was weighed in, video taken and issued a barcode for her membership. She received valuable nutrition...
information and nutrition bible which we usually charge $199 for as a separate service if requested to be done outside of the Challenge. Cyndi then requested to be moved from the Challenge after she attended the nutrition seminar to a regular membership which we were willing to accommodate until we received notice that she put a stop pay on her check. I am still quit unsure why we were made out to be the bad guys in this situation. We are very clear about our services, the cost and expectations. She is the one who illegally bounced a check and demanded not to be charged an NSF and be relieved of her responsibility. We agreed to a cancellation fee and NSF fee payment of $25 so that we did not have to deal with this person. I apologize for the delay in my response but I honestly did not get your letters until last Friday. This is a very timely process for this person who unfairly filed a complaint against The Camp.[redacted] The Camp Team
This is [redacted] from the Camp Transformation Center. I am responding to a complaint that was made by our Client [redacted] file #[redacted]. I have attached a copy of his 6 week challenge weight loss agreement. At the bottom of the agreement there is a box with a weight loss goal...
that he initialed by. If you see line #9 it states that before he can refund out, he must reach the goal weight below where he signed. We have our clients attend a 40 minute orientation where we go over the expectations of the program in order to do the challenge. We do not force anyone to join the program. I myself, signed him up for this program and clearly stated and went over each individual rule from numbers one thru thirteen. He was successful on his challenge and lost 23 pounds, but he was still shy from the goal weight, which means he is automatically enrolled into the next challenge. He was upset that he had to do another challenge. I went over all options with him, including putting his deposit towards a year paid in full ($997) which includes up to three installments, put his deposit towards four months credit of membership and the option to enroll into another challenge. He was reluctant to all options, was very adamant, and declined all options. [redacted] left upset, asked to get an approval from upper management (My VP) and my VP said the same, "He is eligible for a refund after successfully completing another challenge." We as a company abide by our agreements and have issued thousands of refund checks nation wide. We run a successful business with great reviews and I believe [redacted] could have been one of our success stories. Please let me know if anything further is needed from me. The Camp Transformation Center[redacted] Lake Elsinore CA 92532 Revdex.com Re: Revdex.com ID # 12547217 Dear S[redacted], I first want to congratulate you on your completion of our 6-week challenge. Although you did not beat the 20 lbs. challenge you successfully melted 11 lbs. and...
for that you should be proud! I hope that the nutritional guidance along with the meal plan that we provided and the 6 weeks of training at The Camp was something that you were able to benefit from as it has for 50,000 other people who have completed the challenge. When you signed up for the challenge [redacted] had suggested that a paid membership was the best route for you to take because considering your condition we could not guarantee your results or anyone else's, but you insisted that you, along with your partner [redacted] both wanted to do the challenge together. I respected that decision and still do to this day. As you stated, being in a wheelchair made your workouts dramatically different from other campers and that you felt did not incorporate enough cardio. I do recall that all of our trainers prepared workouts designed specifically for you to accommodate your disability which include High Intensity Interval Training regimens just as we discussed which is a very effective way to burn calories and melt fat. Throughout the six weeks you never made any mention about your concern of potentially not losing 20 lbs. You claimed to greatly appreciate the extra attention and accommodations and truly loved the environment of The Camp, which is why I was so surprised to see a complaint from you that you felt underserved. I feel that we did a very good job accommodating your disability; the last time you met with our team you appeared in good spirits and were happy with your results which is what we strive to accomplish. I hope that we can get together to discuss an alternative if you are still interested in losing more weight and becoming a healthier version of yourself. If so, that is still something that we can help you do and I would take great pleasure in helping you reach that goal. Thank You [redacted] Owner, The Camp Transformation Center-Lake Elsinore
Hi this is Monica [redacted] the manager at The Camp Transformation Center Here I am attaching copys of the clients that complaint agreements both for [redacted] , and her son [redacted]. I have read the complaint and find it disturbing that its false. [redacted] and her son attended a...
2 hour nutrition class before her 20 pound challenge started which is mandatory before starting the challenge, so that they can ask all questions and be informed of the meal plan they will be taking. We even give them a 28 page nutrition book which we goo over at the seminar. Her 6 week challenge started on a Monday 10/31/216 and ended on a Monday 12/12/2016 for both her and her son [redacted]. Before signing we have them attend a orientation so they know what they are signing for, we never make anyone or force them to sign up. We go over the agreement read line per line and have them initial on the spot which they did. The problem with [redacted] and [redacted] they were not attending all 5work outs per week which is on line 2 of the agreement. which caused her and her son not to meet the goal weight at week 5. Which means at week 5 she was only down 6 pounds. Her son at week 5 was down 11 pounds. We provided all tools and work outs with our trainers for 50 min boot camp classed which is HIT cardio, My trainers are fully trained and certified to know when a person is not working out. [redacted] her son was pretty much laying on the work out matt and we had pulled him to the side and tried to explain he needs to try to work out in order to be sucsessful. The fully refundable deposit that is guaranteed back to our clients are for those who followed the meal plan and attend all classes and drop the weight so we can market there success story. The deposit is placed to keep them accountable for the entire 6 weeks so they don't cheat and come to work out. Read line 13. We also don't provide 1 on 1 training unless you pay for it. Its not a service that comes with the 6 week challenge. She weighed in at 190 and at week 5 she weighed inn at 184. [redacted] weighed in at 223.7 and at week 5 he weighed in at 212.16 pounds. They also did not show up to final weigh in on 12/12 which they made an appointment to for final weigh in day. We weigh in all our challengers that day so if they don't show up they will be disqualified its a 6 week challenge not a 6 week and 2 day challenge. she showed up on 12/14/2016 asking to be weighed in. We advise her that she was disqualified at week 5 but she was welcomed to finish the full 6 weeks. We offered her membership options which was $10.00 per pound lost but can only be applied to a discounted annual membership that was offered to all our clients who did not make weight. Hope this helps let me know Program Director The Camp Transformation Center
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11730026 and this matter has been resolved. Certain details mentioned in the business's response are untrue and I would like to clarify. I never stated I was unwilling to pay the NSF, this I mention in my initial complaint to the Revdex.com and I have this documented via emails to the business as well. I was never initially told about a $199 nutrition meeting fee. Their "nutrition bible" is not healthy nor valuable, in fact is quite dangerous from a health care standpoint. This I expressed my concerns about. I never made this business out to be the "bad guy" as they mention. I attempted for approximately one month to resolve this issue, yet continued to receive misinformation regarding my contract, additional fees and was threatened to be sent to collections. I was finally able to settle this matter after I advised the business I was going to seek legal advice. In the end, this issue has been resolved as I chose to pay a cancellation fee and NSF.

I am rejecting this response because: Facebook account for The Camp Transformation was created by me in September 2016. I posted and promoted The Camp in the time frame I attended. I have documentation to show proof which I provided to The Camp but that has been dismissed. Any assistance from staff at the physical location in Oxnard,CA to resolve this types of issues are inadequate and poor. Staff only provide customers with an e-mail address to resolve disputes.

Thank you so much for your feedback. The clients in question, a husband and wife signed a contract to take part in a 6 week challenge which began on January 9, 2017 in which they agreed to lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks. We as a facility provided the workouts, meal plan, and accountability throughout the...
challenge as promised and advertised. They participated in all workout plans as offered. We had weekly weigh ins to track progress and to discuss if changes needed to happen. The husband in question was actually doing fabulous on his weight loss goals throughout the challenge until by his own doing began adding fats into his diet which affected his weight loss target. The wife had a change in medication regiment throughout the challenge which was not disclosed to our 6 week challenge coordinator until the final week of the challenge. Our facility uses a prescribed meal plan as dictated by our corporate entity as prescribed by the founder Dr. Sam Bakitar. We offer it to all clients and provide support on how it should be followed, but clients are never forced to follow it, nor are they guaranteed or told they will lose the 20 pounds regardless. As stated in the contract that was signed by both parties, if clients lose 20 pounds they are given a 497.00 dollar refund. These two parties did not lose the 20 pounds so a refund was not granted at the time of their challenge completion.
The customer [redacted] signed an agreement to begin a 6 week challenge on August 28, 2015. Per our 6 week agreement, the customer has 5 business days to cancel the agreement. Client made an...
initial deposit of $153.00 and did not complete paying the balance of her agreement.
We communicated with the customer for the outstanding balance and customer indicated she no longer wanted to do the program. Although, the customer broke the terms of the agreement, we still refunded her deposit of $153.00.
Please provide the proof of the 60 checkins on The Camp Facebook page that show up on your Facebook page timeline for the period of the two challenges. Each post should reflect a brief statement per the agreement. We will happily refund the $497 with proof of the requested information sent through the Revdex.com to review. We have been responsive to all your emails but understand you are frustrated because you do not agree with our response. One of our managers, Helen, has tried to reach you without success. We will wait for your proof to move forward with your request.

Janneth Garcia participated in two challenges at The Camp TC Oxnard. The first began 9/12/16 and the last one started 10/31/16. I have attached the Challenge agreement for your review and records. Per the agreement in order to qualify for a refund one must complete multiple task such as,...
workout 30 times in 42 days, check in on The Camp Facebook page 30 times, follow our meal plan, post a Facebook and Yelp review, etc. Please review: 3)Visit camp 5 days per week (she did 30 workouts the first challenge but only 28 the second challenge). Check in and write a short sentence about your experience with the Challenge. (You must have a total of 30 Facebook check ins by day 42). This is very clear. Janneth initialed but did not comply during either of the challenges. Instead she liked post from other people. She created a Facebook just for the challenge and only added "M[redacted]" as a friend but did nothing else. We instruct all challengers on the rules, we provide English and Spanish speaking team members so that we are very clear. Janneth has friends who also completed the challenge and did everything as instructed. Janneth Garcia does not qualify for a refund due to not completing the requirements of the Challenge. We are happy to extend an additional 4 months of training but no refund will be issued when she did not participate in marketing our facility on Facebook. We have already extended 13 weeks of training plus Janneth Garcia lost 47.2lbs under our guidance and training.

Review: The Camp offered a "free" 6 week challenge. It actually costs $500 deposit to start and IF you reach your goal you get your deposit back. I had expressed my financial situation to [redacted] and he said if I can figure out a way to pay it in payments he will give me an additional 2 weeks to pay it. During the orientation there were promises after promises made by both Jorge and [redacted] and they said as long as we commit so will they. I was ready, ready to commit and change my life around especially with my wedding around the corner. They promised to provide a nutritional plan before the challenge starts, promised a class about the nutritional plan, promised to add me to a facebook group solely for members for support, promised to keep close contact with each challenger from that point forward should we decide to join. NONE of those promises were kept whatsoever. Busy planning my wedding I did not realize the challenge started on 9/14. I missed the weigh in date and everything leading up to that date, i.e the promised nutritional plan and class. I got a call on 9/16 asking if I weighed in and if not if I could go in later. For 1 they completely left me out of all the commitments they promised and 2 even if I started that day that would be less then 6 weeks to lose the agreed weight which would compromise receiving my deposit as well. The part that was most upsetting is that they didn't take any payments which also led me to believe they completely forgot about me but they took the last scheduled payment at the end of September for $153. I have since been calling and texting too get this resolved as I was not expecting that money to be debited and ended up with lack of groceries for my kids and was not able to provide the new shoes I had promised them.after I text this to [redacted] he ceased to respond. They have yet resolve this and continue to bounce me back and forth. This was said at orientation"We don't need any of your money,we collect the deposit only for accountability".Desired Settlement: I would like the business to stop treating my problem as if it does not matter to them. I would like to be fully refunded and removed from their data base. Meaning all my personal data collected be permanently removed.
