Had kitchen cabinets refaced. With in 6 months cabinets began blistering and peeling. He again repainted the defective ones and stated he had no explanation for what was happening and stated if this were to happen again he would replace the doors. Within a few months it happened again. I contacted Jeff and he said he would be able to come in about 2 weeks. No contact. Have attempted to contact him via his cell phone and numerous emails with no response.
We have spoke with Mrs’s Fisher and have come to a resolution. And we are in the process of that resolution now.
I too am experiencing the same issues. I contacted Jeff about touch up paint and he told me he would have it to me by mid week. This was in July. Still nothing. several reminder calls and e mails and no response. I even offered to come to his place and pick up the paint. this is the second go round concerning the paint. The job was done in 2013 and some of the cabinets look 20 years old.
We have a cabinet resurface project that remains incomplete. The owner won’t answer our numerous phone calls. We’ve been abandoned with incomplete work.
We have reached out to Mrs. and are I. The process of making arrangements to correct these issues.
I had a kitchen done by Jeff and his team and I love every bit of it. They took the time to custom build the two cabinets I wanted to add to the kitchen. He responded to all our requests in a timely manner and even added a wine fridge into our design.
This company should no have a A+ rating and I can't believe it does. I had Jeff, the owner, provide me with an est. and stated he could replace a cabinet and reface the entire kitchen. First we remove everything from our kitchen so they could prep the kitchen. At this point you are stuck with completely no kitchen. Jeff the owner starting measuring everything with a tape measure that had .125, .250, .50, .75 etc. on his tape measure instead of the normal lines on a tape measure (1st alarm starting to ring) I found this pretty funny and didn't think anything of it. The next day they prep the cabinets and started to instal on the new strips only to realize they did not have an iron to adhere the strips (2nd alarm ringing) so I ended up giving them my new iron. Then the next day the workers were bad mouthing Jeff and the company (3rd fire alarm ringing) At this point I address my concern with Jeff and he BS his way out of it all. Then the doos were delivered and some of them had scratches and digs on them. Then "4" of the doors were completely measured wrong and did not fit. So I am without a kitchen now for a week now. That means additional cost for having to eat out!
Then they deliver the island that they ordered and to fit the panels on the cabinet they ended up shaving down the island with an electric saw right in my kitchen. Blamed it on the new cabinet that they ordered not being square. Trim on the bottom still shows nails.
At this point I should have fired them (full blown fire at this point) but felt stuck because I had no kitchen and I gave them a 50% deposit already.DON'T GIVE THEM 50% GIVE THEM 10%.
They screwed panels on and used too long of screws so it came out the face side of the panel. Jeff almost screwed the handle on the doors in the wrong place. Crown molding joints don't line up and nails show. First set of hinges didn't work so they had to shim the 2nd set of hinges. Screwed hinges into my cabinets with small screw so doors fell off. I had to hound Jeff to fix things. What really is so sad that every time they tried to fix things they ended up ruining a cabinet door. The soft close keep breaking. There are so many thing wrong I could go on and on. So I was without a kitchen for 3-4 weeks with 2 kids is not a lot of fun and expensive. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with and would never recommend using them. Thankfully his cousin helped (who no longer works for him) came back to our house to fix things. Jeff has come back to fix hinges. He also admitted that they messed up!
At first I thought they were great! I have been waiting over a year with multiple phone calls for them to come and repair the hardware on my cabinet pull outs. They don’t close anymore, one of the tracks is completely off which makes the garbage pull out is not even functional. The quality of work they did initially was awesome. Follow up on their lifetime warranty- is awful. They don’t even return phone calls.
I apologize that you feel that way, we received a phone call today in which I haven’t had a chance to get back to you. I know I’ve personally been to your home to service your kitchen. I will come by on Tuesday or Wednesday to fix whatever issues you may have.
Thank you
Jeff
