I’m writing this in response to the customer complaint you received from [redacted] on June 21, 2017; ID [redacted] .Here is a brief response, and a timeline of events: · This yard was installed on October 1, The homeowners asked The Bruce Company not seed around the home because in the future they were going to install edging and mulch to create easier mowingUnfortunately our blower trucks completed this home before lines could be painted out to mark the beds, and the yard was completely seeded· In the spring of The Bruce Company met with the homeowners and informed them we could cut out the established turf and put in the beds at no charge to the home-owner During this meeting it was discussed by the homeowner how seeding and planting beds were no longer an issue, and it was then agreed between The Bruce Company, and the homeowners, that perennials would be installed in the boulder retaining walls, in lieu of these planting beds These plantings would also diminish the possibility of a wash out in the wall It was also discuss, and the home-owner was informed, that the desired plant material was not available at that time to complete the job · After another discussion in the Fall of 2016, it was agreed between The Bruce Company and the homeowners, that the Spring the of would be the best time to receive the necessary plants, and complete the project· On May 9, 2017, The Bruce Company did respond to an email from the homeowner stating that we were very far behind due to weather and that The Bruce Company would try to get someone out on their project in the next weeks to complete the work· The homeowner has called The Bruce Company many times over the last weeks, and on at least two different occasions, the homeowner was informed by The Bruce Company, that when we had the time, and when weather permits, we would be out to install the perennialsThis is a free gesture on the Bruce Companies end· On June 29, 2017, [redacted] of The Bruce Company spoke with Simona Alzicovici, and informed her that we would be completing the perennial plantings on July 7th, weather permittingAs we all know weather has not been friendly to us so far this year At the time of this response, we have had measurable rain in over 57% of the days in April, May, & June, and 30% above in total rainfall during this same timeframe(is 11.20”, and Madison has received 14.62” of rainfall.)
