The Bradford Apartment Homes

It has been about a month since our move out date from The Bradford. Our move out date was supposed to be April 30th due to circumstances by which we feared our safety was being jeopardized in our specific apartment. When we moved out, everything was clarified as far as the actions needed for us to receive our deposit of $350 back to us. Everything was established in writing and was documented by both the complex as well as us, the 4 people who rented out the apartment. When it came to our move out date, I had not received a single call for the final move out walkthrough. As a result, I personally called the apartments and was told that I would immediately be contacted not ten minutes later in order to schedule a time for the walkthrough. I was unfortunately never contacted. For two weeks after the move out date I attempted to call, email, and even visit the complex in hopes that I could schedule or at the very least speak to somebody about why a walkthrough was now conducted. As a result, our deposit of $350 was not refunded to us, I did not receive a single response from anyone at the complex, and as of recently, we are now being sent to collections on a charge of $241.07 due to what they called "cleaning charges". This is baffling considering that they did not return our deposit back to us despite it superceding the amount being charged at the moment. We are sick of being hassled by this awful apartment complex. Our entire stay at the complex itself was awful as we usually had maintenance emergencies with our unit with little to no effort in the complex actually attempting to get anything fixed. We would just like to forget about the experience altogether. Any and all help received would be great. Thank you.
