The Bluffs Apartments, LP

I moved out of The Bluffs on July 10, 2016. Following my move out, I received a bill for $750. The bills stated if I didn't pay in 14 days, I would be sent to collections. I looked over the charges included and one included replacing the carpet. We went into the office to question the charge because prior to my move in, carpets were certainly worn already. When we went into the office to ask for a copy of my initial walk through form, they told me it appeared to be lost but the manager [redacted] wouldn't be in for 3 days but she would give me a call as soon as she got in, both my dad and I have been calling for the past week after not hearing anything back and every single person in that office has avoided us. I have written a letter to the apartment complex letting them know that I have hired an attorney and have YET to hear anything back from them. Any suggestions?Desired SettlementFirst and foremost, I would like someone to actually answer me and stop being coward.
