The Beauty Room Salon

I scheduled a consultation at The Beauty Room salon 11/15/19 with an independent hair stylist Erin ***. During this consultation we picked out hair extensions I wanted to order for my hand tied extensions to be put in. I also showed her an image in which I was trying to recreate in my hair, during this appointment she said she was able to color my hair, put my hand tied extensions in and also blend my hair with the extensions. Mind you that she said it would take her less then 2.5 hours to tie the extensions into my head. I gave her the down deposit of $1,000 for the extensions to be ordered on 11/17/19.

Moving forward to my actual appointment day 11/20/19 - I went into The Beauty Room Salon to see Erin *** at 12:30 pm. When I got there she said she had everything ready and started on coloring my hair. It took her 2 hours to color my hair an all over color (which should have only taken 20 minutes to put the color in and 20 minutes to process). When she rinsed my hair it was a black/ blue color (Which is far from what I wanted) - she then proceeded to add extensions, they were a level 4 brown (very light color) that didn't match my hair at all. I was not happy and told her to fix it, she didn't want to fix it because she didn't know how. I was at that salon for 6.5 hours, I had to tell her how to try to fix my hair, and she was extremely rude.

11/25/19 I messaged her because a row of my extensions fell out - at this point I wanted a full refund of my money for all the mistakes that were made. These extensions are supposed to last up to a year. She refuses to answer calls or write back.

The money breakdown that I spent goes as followed:
$200 all over color (that was wrong and took way to long)
$65 for a cut that I did not have (only a trim to blend)
$430 for hair extensions
$60 overnight shipping for the hair that was in Minneapolis
$455 for the extensions to be put in, and her "unplanned" time and tax
$90 - tip
