the delay in our response while we looked into the matter further.I have confirmed that Ms. [redacted] was charged a $30.00 fee by her bank (not The Avenue), apparently due to a overdrawing her account. We understand that the overdraft occurred when an automatic withdrawal arranged by Ms. [redacted] was processed in early June 2016. Apparently, Ms. [redacted] had separately pre-paid her June 2016 rental payment, at which point our staff specifically adviser her she would need to cancel the automatic payment before the end of May 2016 to prevent future withdrawals or double-payments. It appears Ms. [redacted] failed to terminate the automated payments.Naturally we would refund or apply any extra payment toward her account, and we did so.We do not believe Ms. [redacted]'s bank overdraft fee is our responsibility, as she voluntarily made these payments and is responsible for her own bank account. Nonetheless, as a goodwill gesture, we previously offered to provide Ms. [redacted] a $30.00 credit on her account. Ms. [redacted] was apparently dissatisfied with the fact that we were not able to write a check or pay cash on the spot for the $30. We again offer a $30 account credit as a settlement offer and hope this will resolve the dispute. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me.Sincerely,Eric B[redacted]Exec.
